Voice Telephone Services Degradation
RESOLVED: Incoming VoIP call issues
ITS-Voice Services has received intermittent reports over the past week or more of voice customers experiencing the scenario where they attempt to answer a ringing line on a Polycom phone but the line continues to ring and no audio (voice) from the caller is presented to them—unless they are patient enough to wait 6 - 10 seconds (sometimes longer). We continue to investigate possible sources for this problem. We would be grateful if customers who have this experience would report the called number along with the day and time of the occurrence. Latest Update: 2019-01-12 06:02:19 - We will continue to monitor several factors we believe were contributing to this issue. We have had no further reports of the delayed answer/audio cut-through this week and would like to take down this alert and mark it resolved.
