Windows Software Update Service
The Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) enables systems administrators to deploy the latest Microsoft product updates to their hosts. By using the service, administrators can subscribe systems to receive ITS provided updates that are released through Microsoft Update to computers in their network, using a local service instead. This enables administrators to be able to receive and apply patches to hosts that do not have internet access, or manage which updates are applied.
- Access ITS provided updates for currently supported Microsoft Operating Systems, Browsers, and Office products.
- Request department-level exclusion of service packs and product upgrades.
