Zenoss has been integrated for many years with Sysmod. As long as application stewards maintained Sysmod for their application, the contact information would be updated in Zenoss for a given device, and populate the LINKS field on a device detail page so that UDC Operators would know who to contact in case of an outage.

Currently that information is still populated but with Sysmod's deprecation, editing those details is no longer possible. That leaves two possibilities to make sure your contact info is up to date.

The Fast way:
The first is editing the COMMENTS field for the device on the device page in the INFRASTRUCTURE view. Be sure to click SAVE.

The Best way:

You are advised however, to replace the old Sysmod link completely with one pointing to a new location where you maintain that info. This would ideally be a Service Contact page on a wiki page like this for the application. This would avoid any confusion for the operators and make it much easier to maintain.

On the same device page we changed the COMMENTS field, click Configuration Properties on the left column.

Scroll down until you see the Configuration Property called ZLinks and double click.

Here you can change the the default, still pointing to Sysmod at https://systems.webhost.utexas.edu/inventory/secure2/serviceinfo.cfm?equipment=${here/id}

Replace that url with the location of the application's service contacts such as this. Then click submit. Note that you may need to refresh your browser to see the new URL in the LINKS field.
