MATLAB
MATLAB is a high-level technical computing language and interactive environment for algorithm development, data visualization, data analysis, and numerical computation. It lets you explore and visualize ideas and collaborate across disciplines including signal and image processing, communications, control systems, and computational finance.
The University of Texas at Austin has licensed for the campus, the MathWorks Total Academic Headcount (TAH) Full Suite of products that includes MATLAB, Simulink, all 80+ companion toolboxes, and MATLAB Distributed Computing Server 32 Worker Add On.
Cost and Eligibility
TAH products are available at no cost to individual faculty, academic staff, and students through a campus cooperative. Individual colleges, schools, and units contribute to the cooperative and annually evaluate whether to continue funding the program for the campus.
Faculty and Staff Only License Instructions
TAH is only for non-commercial academic use.
MATLAB license requests are granted only to currently enrolled students. IMPORTANT: Use a University domain email address when creating your MathWorks account (e.g. @austin.utexas.edu, @my.utexas.edu, or @utexas.edu).
