As part of the Administrative Systems Modernization Program (ASMP), the university’s new image capturing tool, Kofax Total Agility (KTA), is generally available on February 28, 2017. KTA is an image scanning software that allows the university to upload documents and directly store them in Documentum, UT Imaging, DocRepo and other document repositories.
KTA is a powerful, enterprise ready, capture platform. KTA transforms paper documents to electronic formats via optical character recognition (OCR) and automated document recognition (ADR) technology and can capture information from virtually any source including scanners, multi-function devices (printer, copier, fax) or folders. This service enables University faculty and staff to decide how documents are captured and indexed.
For questions and/or concerns, please contact the ITS Kofax support team at firstname.lastname@example.org
