Apple Mail only supports opening shared / resource mailboxes with legacy protocols (IMAP/POP) and not Exchange ActiveSync. As of August 4th 2020, per the guidance of of the UT Information Security Office, legacy protocols for Exchange have been blocked in favor of Exchange ActiveSync.
As an alternative, we suggest using the Outlook Web Application or the Outlook client for Mac to open resource mailboxes.
