Error: Application Not Registered

When attempting to access a web-based application that is protected by Enterprise Authentication, you receive the following error message:

     The application you have accessed is not registered for use with Enterprise Authentication.

This error indicates that the web application is not registered with, and therefore cannot currently be used with, Enterprise Authentication.

 

If you are not the departmental sponsor or developer of this web application, please inform them of this error. If you do not know who to contact, you may contact your local IT support or the UT Service Desk for assistance with determining the departmental sponsor or developer.

If you are the departmental sponsor of this web application, please inform your developer of this error.

If you are the developer of this web application, please ensure that:

  • Your application is integrated with Enterprise Authentication.
  • Your metadata URL is accessible to the public internet (e.g., Enterprise Authentication).

If you are not yet integrated with Enterprise Authentication, have your sponsoring department submit an Integration Request for your application.

If you are already in the process of integrating your application with Enterprise Authentication, you should already be in contact with an Integration Manager or an Integration Engineer who can assist you with this error.

If you require additional assistance, please contact the UT Service Desk for assistance. Any issues which they are unable to resolve will be referred to the Enterprise Authentication team.
