By default, all Apollo groups will have a maximum of 5 owners and a minimum of 2 owners, unless otherwise configured differently. You must be an owner of the group to add or delete an owner.

Since a minimum of 2 owners is required, there must be at least 3 owners before an owner can be deleted. To delete an owner:

  1. Go to the Apollo Home page (https://utdirect.utexas.edu/apollo/index.WBX)
  2. In the Navigation Menu on the left side, click on 'Groups I Own'.
  3. Select the group.
  4. Scroll down until you see the header labeled "Owners".
  5. Under "Owners", you will see all of the owners of the group.
  6. In the column labeled "Owner Identifier", find and click the EID that needs to be deleted.
  7. Highlight the EID and then backspace to erase it.
  8. At the bottom of the page, select "Update". NOTE: DO NOT select "DELETE", this will delete the whole Apollo group.
  9. Scroll back down to the "Owners" to verify that the EID you deleted is no longer there.

Apollo groups can have a maximum of 5 owners. To add an owner:

  1. Go to the Apollo Home Page (https://utdirect.utexas.edu/apollo/index.WBX).
  2. In the Navigation Menu on the left side, click on 'Groups I Own'.
  3. Select the group.
  4. Scroll down until you see the header labeled "Owners".
  5. Under "Owners", you will see a list of owners of the group.
  6. In the column labeled "Owner Identifier", type in the EID you want as an owner.
  7. At the bottom of the page, select "Update".
  8. Scroll back down to the "Owners" to verify that the EID you added is now an owner.
