ThousandEyes: Logging In and Authenticating

NOTE: UTEIDs have to be enabled to be able to log into ThousandEyes. If you are new to the service, please ensure you have "requested the service" via the ServiceNow catalog. Please review the "Getting Started" KB article.

Logging into ThousandEyes

  1. Visit the following website:  » https://app.thousandeyes.com
  2. The following authentication page should appear:
  3. Enter your UTEID credentials and click "Sign In".

 

ThousandEyes authentication appear instead of UT authentication

The ThousandEyes single sign-on (SSO) is based on browser cookies (learn how to enable/disable those cookies).  If the browser cookie for ThousandEyes SSO is not present, you will be presented with the standard ThousandEyes prompt, instead of the UT "Office 365" login.    Follow the instructions below to force UTEID authentication.

  1. Visit the following website: » https://app.thousandeyes.com
  2. The following authentication page should appear:


     
  3. Click the "Single sign-on" link below the orange "Log In" button.
  4. The following prompt will appear:

       
  5. Enter your O365 email address (_____@austin.utexas.edu) and click "Log In".
  6. You will be redirected to the UTEID authentication page:

  7. Enter your UTEID credentials and click "Sign In".
