Customizing Fulfiller Navigation and Core Applications

Fulfillers have extensive options available in ServiceNow's default navigation, including many applications you may not use often or ever. This article will explain how to curate a custom navigation panel and provide guidance on which applications are frequently used.

 

Accessing Starred Navigation

Clicking the star icon at the top of your navigation panel will display your favorites and shortcuts.

 

Creating Starred Navigation

To add applications to your starred navigation panel, click the star to the right of the application name in your main navigation panel.

You can also add specific forms, reports, or custom forms onto your starred navigation panel by clicking the name or number of the item and dragging it onto your starred navigation panel.

 

Customizing Starred Navigaton

Click the pencil icon on the bottom right corner of your starred navigation panel to reorder and/or customize the items listed.

Reorder items by clicking on the item or application name and dragging it up or down on the list.

Customize the name, icon, and icon color for reach item by clicking on the item. This will bring up the Set Up Your Favorites screen containing the customization options for that item. Click Done to save your changes when you are done customizing the item.

Remove an item by clicking on the item and selecting Remove from the top right corner of the favorites customization screen for that item.

 

Core Applications for Fulfillers

The applications listed below are commonly-used items that you may want to include in your custom navigation panel. They are organized by module to help you find them in your navigation panel. Applications with * are specific to Service Owners. Applications with ** are specific to Service Desk. Applications with * are specific to Knowledge Managers.
