Faculty/Staff License Assignment

Faculty and staff Matlab licensing is done automatically. After the user creates a MathWorks account using an email address ending in "utexas.edu", a MATLAB license will be automatically assigned to their account. Faculty/staff can create a Mathworks account using the following instructions:

Create a MathWorks account using your UT email account and follow the given instructions:
https://www.mathworks.com/accesslogin/createProfile.do

After this is completed, A MATLAB license will automatically be assigned to your MathWorks account.

 

Note: If it's been more than 24 hours since the MathWorks account was created with an email ending in "utexas.edu" and there is no MATLAB license in their MathWorks account, users should contact their department's local IT department 

The primary academic units participating in MathWorks TAH agreement, administer MATLAB for their units. To request access contact your respective unit:

Natural Sciences
