Adding a List Owner or Privileged List Owner
Sometimes it is appropriate for multiple individuals to own a list. Adding list owners has the following requirements:

At least one list owner must have an email address in the utexas.edu domain. If at least one list owner does not have a utexas.edu email address, you will receive an error "Owner list must include at least one address from a following domain..."

You must be a privileged owner to add or remove other owners.
Adding a List Owner

Log on to UT Lists and select your list from the My Lists option.
- Select the Admin link from the list homepage left-hand menu.
- Under the Basic Operations menu, hover over Users and select Owners.
- Enter Email Address and Name for new owner.
- Click the Update button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Adding a Privileged List Owner
The original list owner is always a privileged owner, and can elevate other list owners to privileged owner status.
- Log on to UT Lists and select your list from the My Lists option.
- Select the Admin link from the list homepage left-hand menu.
- Under the Basic Operations menu, hover over Users and select Owners.
- Enter Email Address and Name for new owner.
- Click the Update button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Note: As a privileged owner, it is possible to accidentally change your profile back to being a normal owner. If this happens, you may not be able to manage your list properly. Contact the UT Service Desk for further assistance.
