You do not have to use an authorization code to call an "800" number from Class A or B campus phones. Using an authorization code will cause you to be billed for the call.
What You Do | What You Hear |

1) Lift the handset from the cradle. | Dial Tone |
2) 9 + 1 + area code + number. | Ringing |
Note: Any 3-digit toll-free number will work (e.g., "800", "888", etc.).
