FAQ: What is the difference between an Outlet, an ACO and a wall jack?

There is no difference. You will sometimes hear an Outlet referred to as an ACO or wall jack. ACO is the acronym for a manufacturer that is one of many that manufactures cable outlets.  ITS has worked to change all references from ACO to Outlet, however, people still call the Outlets many different names.
