If shared folders are slow to load when initially accessed, you may want to disable their caching:

  1. Open your Outlook Desktop Application
  2. Click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
  3. Click the Exchange account, and then click Change > More Settings.
  4. On the Advanced tab, under Cached Exchange Mode Settings, check the options you want.
