Copy the utexas.edu URL you want to shorten.

Go to http://links.utexas.edu.

Paste the URL you want to shorten in the URL field.

Select the Track Usage box if you want to track how many people are using your shortened URL.

check the Use Splash Screen box if you want to present users of your shortened URL with a splash screen.

Click Create.
The Short Links service will return a shortened URL, which you can copy and paste as needed.
