Wireless remote applications, such as Apple's Remote which controls iTunes and Apple TV via an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, will not work on campus. Other applications, such as remote controls for slideshow presentations, are similarly affected. These applications require the use of multicast, which is not supported on the campus wireless network due to scaling issues. Refer to the software developer's documentation for possible workarounds.
