Forwarding Email in Office 365

To forward email in Office 365:

  1. Log into the Outlook Web App, click the Gear/Cog wheel in the top right corner, and select View all Outlook settings.
  2. Select Mail, then Forwarding.
  3. Select Enable forwarding, enter the forwarding email address, and select Save

 

If mail needs to be saved in both locations, make sure to check the Keep a copy of forwarded messages checkbox. If mail should only be delivered to the forwarding address, clear this checkbox.

You can also use rules in Outlook Web App to automatically forward messages to another account. See instructions at this link.

Forwarding business email accounts to a personal email account (including personal UTmail accounts) is prohibited by University policy. More information and instructions here.
