If you are eligible for retirement benefits from UT Austin, you may be eligible to continue to use ITS services upon retirement. However, you should contact Human Resources to determine eligibility:

Note: UT Austin policies are not the same as those of the UT System or the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS). Receiving benefits from those entities does not necessarily grant eligibility for continued ITS services.

Rules, methods of payment, and most other accounting information for ITS services are the same for retirees as for current students, faculty, and staff. However, retirees cannot purchase software resources which by contract are restricted to currently affiliated students and active employees.
