When an employee's primary home address in Workday is in a state with an income tax, Workday will automatically deliver the task "Complete State and Local Withholding Elections". If your current primary home address is in a state that does not have a state income tax (see list below), this task can be canceled through the following steps:

1. Find the Complete State and Local Withholding Elections task in your Workday inbox
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select Cancel
3. On the next page, enter a reason such as “Moved to Texas” in the box for comments
4. Click Submit
