The University of Texas at Austin mails 1042-S forms at the end of February, but you must allow 7 to 10 days for delivery from the United States Postal Service. If you want your 1042-S form quicker, elect "electronic delivery" via the My Tax Forms page of UT Direct. Electronic delivery enables you to access your 1042-S as soon as it is published without having to wait for the mail. Those who do not elect to receive their 1042-S form electronically should confirm that their mailing address is correct by sending an email to 1042S@austin.utexas.edu with your UT EID and current mailing address.
