What are *DEFINE command authorizations in Electronic Office Management (EOM)?

 

Command authorizations are assigned to linked desk/view combinations that control which commands users have authority to use. Office managers and delegates control command authorizations.

 

The level of authorization that can be granted to a linked desk/view combination is one of four statuses:

 

• None - cannot access the command
• View - can view command information only
• Update - can use the command; required to create and process electronic forms (documents)
• Super - same permissions as update; grants additional authorizations for certain commands

 

To add or update command authorizations, click [EDIT COMMAND AUTHORIZATIONS]. Select the command you want to update from the Commands to Edit menu. From here, you can update individual commands to reflect the new statuses. Clicking Update will save the changes.
