What bank account is being used for direct deposit and how can I update this?
To determine the bank account a direct deposit payment (that is not from Payroll) is being sent to, review the payment on the Where's My Check page in UT Direct. This bank account is determined by the information set up on the My Bank Information page of UT Direct.
The bank account shown in the Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) Information section of the My Bank Information page is used for scholarship, fellowship, cash prize, and other nonpayroll payments and refunds issued by the University. You may update your bank account information for nonpayroll direct deposits on this page. Click the I Authorize button to record any changes; these will be in effect for any future payments issued by the University.
Note: Access to My Bank Information requires an upgraded UT EID For more information on upgrading your UT EID, see UT EID Self-Service Tools. If you do not have an upgraded UT EID, you may set up direct deposit with the University by returning an Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization Form.
Updates to Payroll direct deposit information must be made in Workday.
