Features Available When Approving *DEFINE Documents on the Web

With the newest release of Electronic Document Approval on the Web (eDocs), there are additional features available which can be accessed by clicking on the document ID in your web inbox or by entering the document ID directly on this page.

In the refreshed design, all document information is displayed on a single page.

Basic information (including document type, Status, Creator, and Summary) can be found at the top of the page, along with document notes.

Document notes are visible, and new notes can be added. All actions that are available for the document type are listed on the page as well as the ability to enter any required information for specific actions.

The routing path of the document is also displayed, and each stop on the path is clickable to view additional information. A link is provided to access the full routing history.

Any supporting documentation that has already been attached to the document is viewable by a direct link to the Image Retrieval System. Additional links are shown in blue which will provide more information about the document.

Within the Line Items section more information is available about the account number as well as links about this account in other systems like GB 2 on the web. Links to associated contracts and purchase orders are also included. Arrow icons signal that the link will take you to another system. Elements within the Line Items with down arrows next to them indicate that there is more information to see.

Selecting the QuickSum calculator icon will quickly add amounts in a column. This is done by holding down the shift key and clicking the cells to be summed up, and the total will be displayed at the top of the column. The Filter function allows searching within each column.

If the page is too narrow to display all the table columns, the additional columns will wrap below each row in the table, and a message will appear when this happens.
