To improve the faculty and graduate student employee experience, University leadership approved a new set of academic appointment dates to align academic appointments with the academic calendar. Starting in Fall 2024, faculty and graduate student employee appointments will begin August 16.

Because this change will impact current workflows, a cross-functional team comprised of representatives from colleges, schools and central business units is working together to develop new workflows and guidance materials.

Prior Approval Request (PAR) technical updates are complete. CSUs may submit PARs for summer and fall 2024 faculty new hires.
