What are the reimbursement rates for meals and lodging charged to state accounts?
Accounts following state rules may reimburse actual expenses for meals and lodging using the following rates:
- Overnight travel inside Texas and outside of Texas but within the continental U.S. is based on limits for each locality and date and can be viewed on the U.S. General Services Administration site and the GG1 command in *DEFINE. Travel within Texas for counties not listed are not to exceed $110 for overnight lodging and $68 for meals per day.
- Foreign travel is limited to $425 per day of which no more than $68 per day may be for meals.
